LOVE BEYOND HUNGER - Food Pantry Help

Food pantries. Warm meals. Sack lunches. The Salvation Army is committed to offering these programs and services to those in need in our Peoria-area community, but we need your help! Volunteers are needed to help in our Family Services Kitchen and Warehouse, located at 417 NE Adams St. in downtown Peoria, with the following:

• food pantry packing              

• sandwich making

• sack lunch preparation

• general cleaning and organization

When we love beyond hunger, we can provide hope and help for those in need in our community. (Family Services Kitchen and Warehouse volunteer opportunities will vary depending on the needs of the Kitchen and Warehouse of each specific day - Most often, these volunteer opportunities will take place during our business hours of Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm) However, we are flexible - If there is a specific date and time that you have in mind to volunteer, we will work with you to the best of our ability to make it happen.
