Neighborhood House needs volunteers to help distribute shelf-stable meals to homebound seniors and persons with disabilities throughout the Tri-County area as part of their extended Meals on Wheels outreach. Please select a shift and the agency will contact you with further details.
- Volunteers will deliver the food and supplies (using their own vehicles) and follow a "step down" method of knocking on the door, placing donation on steps or porch and then backing away so the recipient can gather the food and supplies.
- Volunteers should not be immunocompromised and are encouraged to go in teams of two.
- Please follow standard safety precautions of closed-toe shoes, use hand sanitizer, etc.
