We could use volunteers on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the following ways:
- As alternates who have a truck and could meet our FamilyCore worker at Midwest Food Bank (9005 N. Industrial Rd.) at 1:20 on load-out days. We have two men w/ trucks that have helped us since 2008, but sometimes one or the other or both are out of town on a load-out day.
- As helpers to unload the trucks back at FamilyCore (usually the trucks arrive back between 2:15 and 2:45 p.m.) and help us sort and re-box the food for each referred family (usually around 15-20 families are referred each month).
- As loaders of vehicles (either client vehicles or employee vehicles, depending on if the client picks up their food or the employee delivers) from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
