YWCA Pekin Adult Literacy is in need of 11 volunteers to assist with Family Reading Night on Thursday, November 15, 2018. There will be 4 one hour long sessions (3pm-4pm; 4pm-5pm; 5pm-6pm; and 6pm-7pm)....for each hour long session we will be able to accommodate 20 families. During each session the families will be reading the book "All My Stripes." After the story is read the families will participate in an autism friendly activity. There are three activities available - based on age level.
We are in need of 2 volunteers at the check-in table (everyone attending must pre-register) and we are in need of 3 volunteers at each of the three activity tables to assist children/parents with the activities. The volunteers will then prepare and refresh each activity table for use for the next session.
