The Heart of Illinois United Way needs volunteers to help observe the auction areas at the event and assist with the check-out process. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own smartphones and tablets to assist guests who have BidPal questions while the auction is open for bidding. At 7:45 pm, the volunteers will help move all silent auction items to the hotel's Plaza Room for checkout. During checkout, these volunteers will assist checkout volunteers and guests pickup paid purchases.
Volunteer training will be at 4:00 pm in the hotel's board room (this includes BidPal training). Light dinner will be provided to event volunteers.
