Volunteer: Core Memory Making: Easterseals Central Illinois ICan Bike

I wanted to share a unique volunteer opportunity that is a little different from many of our event-based roles. The I Can Bike program offers the chance to work directly with the children we serve, helping them learn to ride a two-wheeled bike—many for the very first time.As a volunteer, you'll be paired with a rider and provide encouragement, support, and positive energy as they build confidence, independence, and new skills throughout the week. It is incredibly fun, rewarding, and inspiring to watch the progress these riders make and to be part of such a meaningful milestone in their lives.Volunteer sessions run from 2:00–3:15 p.m. and 3:35–4:50 p.m., with a 20-minute break in between. You are welcome to volunteer for one session or stay for both. Location- EastSide Centre in East Peoria. Dates: July 20th-July 24th. Minimum age 14 ( Have any young people in your life that would like to help?)No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, encourage, and have fun! We provide all the training and support you need.

Please email mhogeboom@eastersealsci.com for questions or interest.
