Volunteer: Santa Claus Parade Volunteers for CFPAIt's a magical time of the year. Come walk with us and pass out candy as we promote our mission to helping people in Central Illinois live free from violence and abuse. Volunteers are encouraged to wear their favorite holiday attire while they accompany Quacky (CFPA’s mascot) and other friends of CFPA. Volunteers can also wear santa/elf hats and any festive accessories. Feel free to bring candy to share in the parade (no suckers please). This year's parade starts an hour earlier than past parades. Lineup begins 8:30 a.m. The parade begins at 9:15 a.m. sharp. Strollers and wheelchairs welcome! Please no pets. Dress warm and Layer Up! ** please do not throw candy police will be issuing citations to those who are throwing and not handing candy directly to participants ** We will meet on NE Madison Ave in front of the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Organization: Center for Prevention of Abuse It's a magical time of the year. When: December 10–11 We’re looking for volunteers to help wrap presents for our clients and their families.
