The Heart of Illinois United Way needs volunteers to help with the silent auction checkout process. Volunteers will be stationed in the hotel's Plaza Room at six stations and guests will be asked to show the screen on their cellphones indicating items won. Checkout volunteers can also look up payment status or process a payment via BidPal using the laptop at their station. Runners will assist checkout volunteers by collecting the items won for each guest.
Volunteer training will be at 4:00 pm in the hotel's board room (this includes BidPal training). Light dinner will be provided to event volunteers.
