Glendale Commons is our property where families who were experiencing homelessness now reside. This property has a family atmosphere and needs some tender loving care. We are looking for a team of 10-15 volunteers to volunteer on May 10, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM to trim bushes, plant annuals in flower boxes, rake leaves, and pick up garbage at Glendale Commons at 715 Morgan Street Peoria, Illinois in Peoria's North Valley. This is a project that we do each Spring and Fall. Nothing says Spring like Glamming up your yard and giving the beautiful bushes a trim and the flower boxes some bling! Flowers, yard refuse bags, and garbage bags will be provided; however, you will need to bring your own trimmers, garden gloves, and hydration to keep you going.
