For the past six months, the Peoria YMCA has been teaching kids at the East Bluff Community Center the skills of teamwork and leadership through basketball, while fostering development in the principles and values of the YMCA. This is done through the Rebound Program, proudly sponsored by Peoria Charter Coach. The Rebound Program's motto is "Where Character Wins", because while playing basketball is important to the kids now, building character and learning how to be a valuable citizen are important for their future. The Y has several volunteer opportunities throughout the year in this program
