Family House is in need of a Front Desk volunteer to manage the front desk on Friday, July 18th, from 4 pm to Midnight so that our staff is able to participate in our 40th Anniversary Celebration.
Volunteering at the front desk of an organization offers a great opportunity to interact with people and learn more about the organization's work.
Front desk volunteers will greet visitors, answer phones, take room requests, check guests in and out, and direct inquiries, playing a crucial role in the first impression and smooth operation of the organization.
If you can't do the full 8 hours, you can do 4 hours, and we can look for a second volunteer to cover the other 4 hours. You are welcome to come in before that day to see how things are run and take a tour of Family House.
