Currently, our biggest volunteer need is for a Patient Escort Volunteer. Duties include:
- Walking patients and visitors to their destination
- Transporting patients by wheelchair throughout the hospital
- Picking up and deliver Medical Equipment, Supplies, and Lab Specimens throughout the hospital
- Background Check & TB test required
- 4 month commitment with 2 to 6 hour shifts available
- 18 years old and up
Volunteering as a Patient Escort is a great way to learn about the hospital setting, interact with patients and visitors, and help people feel welcome.
