Volunteer: Mardi Gras 2026

Mardi Gras is back in Central Illinois! It's Friends' largest fundraiser of the year with the money raised from this event going directly to keeping all of our programs low to no-cost.

By volunteering, you’ll help us ensure our guests have an exceptional experience, and also receive a ticket to attend the event and after party for free! (DISCLAIMER: Event Set-Up Volunteers do NOT receive the free entry, but are invited to also volunteer for our evening opportunities to receive free entry. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to be involved in the event, but want to avoid the large crowds and late hour).

Those seeking to volunteer for this event will be sorted into the following roles:

Event Set-Up Crew: Help us with decorations, table arrangements, and last-minute preparations before the festivities begin.Guest Check-In: Manage the guest list, hand out wristbands, and ensure everyone gets the party started right.Silent Auction Attendants: You'll assist guests with bidding, answer questions about fantastic items, and help monitor the tables.Wine Pull: Manage our popular "Wine Pull" game. Sell pulls to guests and manage the cash box.Raffle Ticket Sales: Spread excitement and sell raffle tickets for our "Booze Barrel". Your energy will help us drive crucial fundraising.Coat Check Attendants: Provide a helpful and organized service for our guests, ensuring their belongings are safe and easily retrieved.
