The PNC Foundation announced during the National Volunteer Week that it will amplify opportunities for volunteers to be matched with local nonprofit needs through the Heart of Illinois United Way's online volunteer portal (volunteer.hoiunitedway.org).
"Our support for this unique portal is an extension of our decades-long commitment to enhance quality of life for our neighbors and the communities we serve. We're excited to help connect big-hearted volunteers with projects that align with their interests and skillsets," said Brian Ray, PNC regional president for central Illinois.
Through volunteer.hoiunitedway.org, the Heart of Illinois United Way enables nonprofits in the Peoria area to easily connect with volunteers through an engaging, online social environment.
