

Our Work
Our Mission is to provide a safe environment, resources, and education to empower our community to reach their fullest potential through all life stages. Currently, Neighborhood House provides an array of diverse programs, which gives each person the tools they need to be successful. Our programs are based on research and the needs of the community.
Some of the programs our organization provides include:
- Meals on Wheels
- Critters Meals on Wheels
- Feeding Children & Families
- Adult Literacy, GED and Youth Education & Enrichments
- Adult Financial Empowerment & Employment Services
Ways to Volunteer
Neighborhood House is serving meals to children 15 years of age and younger. Meals will be served Monday through Friday when Peoria School District is in session.
Neighborhood House is looking for volunteers to:
- serve as positive role model
- commit to one afternoon a week, 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm
- supervise activities, games, gym time
Other Ways to get involved include:
- Holiday Programs
- Food Pantry Helpers
- Kitchen Helpers
- Yard Work & Landscaping (Spring through Fall)
- Indoor Painting Projects
