Just as its name implies, FamilyCore understands that strong families, equipped with the right balance of resources and tools to succeed, are at the heart of any vibrant, tight-knit community.
FamilyCore (previously known as Counseling & Family Services) employs over 90 individuals who work with schools, the court system, and other social service agencies to connect counseling, intervention, preventative education, and other support services with those who have a need. FamilyCore takes a holistic approach in its continuum of care, often providing support to multiple generations. The end goal is to maintain the integrity of family, however it may be defined.
FamilyCore has been serving the Peoria area since 1900, “Strengthening Families for a Stronger Community.” This is done through our many services including Foster Care, Adoption Preservation, Child Welfare, Counseling, Single Parent Support, and Youth Outreach.
